We worship God by praising Him, loving all people, sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, fellowshipping with believers, and discipling Christians into spiritual maturity.
We worship God by:
Ephesians 1:6 “So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son.” (NLT)
We exist as a church to praise God. We believe that God is a perfect being and creator of all things. He has provided us a way to have a relationship with Him through His son Jesus Christ. We praise him by all acts of worship both inside and outside of the church.
Loving All People-
Mark 12:31 “The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” (ESV)
We believe that because of the great love God has shown us that we should extend this same love to others. We believe that the church exists to minister to all people in need.
Sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ-
Psalm 96:3 “Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples!” (ESV)
We are called to share the good news of Jesus Christ with all. We believe this starts with our immediate community and spreads into the rest of the world.
Fellowshipping with Believers-
1 Thessalonians 5:11 “Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.” (ESV)
The church exists to provide a place of fellowship for all believers. We believe that the church functions as a family where people can get connected for mutual upbuilding and encouragement.
Discipling Christians into Spiritual Maturity-
Hebrews 10:24-25 “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” (ESV)
One major function of the church is to disciple both new and mature believers. We believe that this is a crucial aspect of the church. We exist to train people to go out and make more disciples.
